I ordered a Sony HDR-SR12 from US1photo/US1Camera online. The order said it was in stock. 6 business days later I got an email saying they need to confirm my CC info. I spend a few hours calling because no one picks up (it was during business hours). Finally get a hold of someone there and they inform me that they are out of stock. US1Photo was the cheapest but one of the lowest rated merchants. Now I know why. Do not buy from them!

No response to my email so I had to call the customer service. I had to wait on line for about 30 minutes to be able to speak to somebody. My order was placed on Dec 1st and they couldnt even guarantee delivery by Dec 19th even with a substitute product - I had free ground shipping selected though. The rep was faster than me to cancel the order. Canceled my order on Dec 9th and waiting to get my refund. Not recommended.

Difficult to set up an account; particularly with regards to establishing mailing versus billing addresses.My order was kept in "pending" mode for 3 days with no contact or explanation. When I called, I was told there was a problem processing my credit card and I was forwarded to the billing department. Two days later, I was told that there was nothing wrong with my credit card, US1Camera had simply not processed my order because they were out of stock and "saw no reason to complete the order".Despite the fact that their website showed "usually ships in 1-2 days" when I ordered, and 3 days later when I tried to track down my order status, I was told that the item was not in stock, that it would be AT LEAST 7-10 days before the item was received, another 2-5 days for my order to be processed, AND then 7-10 business days for delivery.

Lowest price - We will see how they do overall once I receive the merchandize - Bruce @ ext 237 call me to notified me that they did not have the item on stock and that it would take about a week before they receive it. This was a pleasant notification since i needed this for a christmas gift and it gives me time to shop somewhere else.

My order was acknowledged and processed quickly. Tracking number sent, package arrived safely and on time, everything well packed. The merchandise was factory new and exactly as described. Very pleased with the transaction. Great prices too! Would not hesitate to order again.

I placed an order of Canon xsi camera on 11/18, thinking of using it on Christmas vacation. I received an email for order confirmation on 11/20. I called immediately, being told the camera was not in stock (their website showed in stock). Their cp assured me there might be a little delay but "youll get it in two and a half weeks" (quote from cp Bruce). I thought it wouldnt be a problem. After three weeks, today 12/8, I called them again because the order status was still "Billing/verification". This time I was told NOT IN STOCK BEFORE CRHISTMAS. I think if I were to keep waiting, Id probably never get the camera until NEXT YEAR. So I cancelled the order today. The problem is why they lied that the camera was in stock when it was actually not for so long, and why they promised me "2 1/2 weeks to get it" but couldnt hold their promise. Im VERY disappointed by their irresponsibility and inefficiency. US1Photo/camera dont know the importance of doing business in a timely manner.

Order was shipped late, but merchant offered express shipping at no extra charge, which was fair.
