    Duration of ownership: 3 Months

    Strengths: the old version

Weaknesses: very buggy, support is terrible and almost non-existent, they have yet to reply to a 2 month old email

Overall Evaluation: Muvee USED to be a great program, but the new version isn't worth the money

Strengths: Dead simple to use. Professional-looking output. Definite improvement over muvee autoProducer. Able to import HD video. Better quality output compared to autoProducer. Logical interface--they've really done their homework here.

Weaknesses: PSP output rather poor (fuzzy when compared to using VideoStudio to convert to PSP). Program crashes when working with large projects (many photos and videos). Not clear on UI that the "Make muvee" process now means "click the Play button" (there is no longer a button labelled "Make muvee"). Fewer included styles compared to autoProducer. Not able to control volume of soundtrack at specific locations.

Overall Evaluation: At first I was going to balk paying another $100 after I already paid $130 for autoProducer 6. But the half price discount for upgraders lured me in. And I don't regret it one bit: Reveal is a superior product that produces superior results (compared to autoProducer). The UI is much improved. Editing full screen is great; much larger preview area (though full screen preview stumbles). Lots of UI "niceties"--among those: a much improved way to indicate magicSpots. Well worth the money, considering the time it'll save you and the compliments you'll get for your productions!
